Managing Director

Andrew Mastromanno is the founder of BBA. Having previously worked with some of the largest shipping and technology companies across the globe he identified numerous industry problems that honed his expertise in the industry.

Andrew considered those problems as the foundation of the BBA system vision, where he invented a range of new industry concepts, and combined them with improved contemporary technology and architectural frameworks.

He also worked for various senior leadership roles in the logistics and shipping technology industry, he was a former General Manager for Temando and Ship2Anywhere. All of Andrew’s previous professional experiences paved way for him to bring BBA to market.

Andrew also held a Commercial Management role at Fairfax Digital and was part of international ventures in the technology industry through his work in the UK and across global markets.

He was also in the distribution and supply chain industry and gained 5 years of experience in the office product for market, leading global companies OfficeMax and COS.

Andrew is a university degree holder of Marketing and Management. He is determined to ensure global expansion and success for BBA.

He is a natural born entrepreneur with a “never say die” attitude, tactical and strategic with his approach in finding solutions to industry-related problems.

Chris Barlow
Advisor to Board of Directors

Chris Barlow is a British-Australian national who joined BBA as an Advisory to the board of Directors. He has served in various CEO, Managing Director and Non-Executive Director roles across a wide range of infrastructure and logistics sectors and brings to BBA his exceptional variety of expertise.

Executive Roles

These have included CEO and Managing Director of Melbourne and Launceston airports, (2000-2008),Development Director, BAA plc (1992 – 2000), President, Canadian Airports Limited (1990 – 1992), General Manager, Terminal 3, Heathrow Airport Limited (1988 – 1990), Managing Director, Airports UK (1987 – 1988), Managing Director, Aberdeen Airport Limited, BAA plc (1984 – 1987), Engineering and Project Manager, BAA plc (1971 – 1984) and Graduate Engineer, Rendell Palmer & Triton Consulting Engineers (1967 – 1971).

Non-Executive Roles

He was a Board Member of Top ASX 50 company, ASCIANO Limited (2007 – 2016), prior to its successful sale where he was also Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Asciano operated in the logistics area through its ownership of Pacific National rail and Patrick stevedoring.

He is presently Chair of AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT GROUP which operates airports in Darwin, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek. Chris is also a Senior Non-Exec Director Advisor on Airports worldwide for IFM INVESTORS, a major super fund manager. In addition, he is Chair for MELBOURNE CONVENTION BUREAU and Board Member of VISIT VICTORIA and AUSTRALIAN RAIL TRACK CORPORATION.

Frank Petruzzelli
Non-Executive Board of Director

Frank Petruzzelli is a successful Australian entrepreneur who brings a range of corporate expertise to BBA as a non executive board of director. Franks focus for BBA is around sound corporate governance. Frank also has a strong business mind and also brings a high degree of accountability to the BBA strategic plan and operations.

Executive Roles

His day to day business MDB is focused on Management Consulting, Merger & Acquisition, Accounting and Corporate Taxation services. As the CEO and Managing Director at MDB his mission is “To help MDB clients sleep well at night,” and brings this line of thinking in all business activities.

Frank has decades of experience in the tax and assets management industry and public practice since 1985. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Fellow Member of National Tax and Accountants Association (NTAA), and a Tax Agent.

Frank is also the CEO of Bodyography Australia Pty Ltd, an international professional make up line which has a sole distribution rights to beauty and skin care products in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Former Director of Mustang Resources Ltd (Founding Director) . This company is a Diamond, Ruby and Graphite explorer in Mozambique Africa
  • Golden Gate Petroleum Ltd (ASX Code GGP) Director. This company is an oil and Gas explorer in Texas and Louisiana USA
  • Also a former director of Orchard Petroleum Ltd which was taken over by a Hong Kong Company in 2006
  • Founding Director of Frontier Diamonds Ltd . This company will be listed on the ASX in June 2017 and will operate 3 Diamond Producing Mines in South Africa.
